Hello, /vr/. I'm trying to decide how to top off my NES collection. I keep all my games in ex-rental cases, and I have only a couple of cases left. I haven't yet decided what last two games to buy so I can fill them. I may try to hunt down additional rental cases in the future, but for the time being, I'd like to round down some of my game choices.

Games I already own:

Dragon Warrior
Dragon Warrior II
Gauntlet
Gradius
IronSword
Legacy of the Wizard
Star Soldier
Tetris 2
Ultima: Exodus
Ultima: Quest of the Avatar
Wizards & Warriors
Zanac
Zelda II

Games I'd like to own:

Castlevania
Castlevania III
Battle of Olympus
Fantasy Zone (but I already have Fantasy Zone Complete Collection for PS2)
Ghosts 'n Goblins
Life Force
Nobunaga's Ambition, or a similar Koei strategy game
Wizards & Warriors III

Games I probably won't consider:

Contra series - Played them to death. Beaten both Contra and Super C 40+ times. I may consider Super C if I can find it really cheap.

Dragon Warrior III or IV - Too expensive, and two Dragon Warrior games are probably enough for my library.

Final Fantasy 1 - Beaten it more times than I can count, and I already have both FF Origins and Dawn of Souls.

Mario series - I have them on GBA, and I've already played them to death. Considering how easy the series is, there's not much incentive to replay.

Metroid - Have too many ports of it already, and have beaten it several times.

Simon's Quest - Didn't care for it. I beat it once and lost interest. The world is just too dull.

Tetris (1) - Didn't care much for the original formula. I thought Tetris 2 was a substantial improvement over it. Plus Tetris 2 has two-player and vs. CPU modes.

Zelda 1 - Already beaten it 20+ times, and I have two emulated ports of it on other consoles.

I'm mostly a fan of platformers, RPGs and shoot 'em ups. Zelda II, Ultima: Exodus, IronSword and Star Soldier are probably my favorite games for the NES.

I wouldn't store cartridges like that. If you stack them together, the pressure will cause the plastic to swell. It creates these permanent white streaks across the sides of the cartridges.

It's best to keep all cartridges in individual cases, like bulky ex-rental cases.
