'90s had a couple of official translations, but they were rare as shit. For example Prince of Persia, Contra, and The Little Mermaid NES were sold in some carts with official Russian translations but they were that rare, very few people appear to have played them. They are not even in rom sets but Kinaman showed the examples I cited on his video. They were done by a group called Electronica.

Yes, that. I don't think it is that bad of a game but I'm an X-Files fag. If you don't care for the plot or the license, at best, you get a decent Resident Evil (pre-4) clone that is not too long or too hard. Odd choice of a video. If you want to believe the review without playing, you just led someone else tell you what to do. I would understand if the game was truly the likes of Desert Bus, but it is not as bad as that guy makes it out be, for a licensed game, it does the series justice, and while it is not as good nor as original as the PC game on this thread, there are worse games, licensed or not, much worthy of being avoided.

Sadly no. Brazilian dubs were awesome back in the 80s and 90s, I often preferred them over the original voices. The original dubs of The Goonies and Rambo First Blood, for example, are considered cult classics here. But it all went to shit since then, today most dubs are cringeworthy.

I don't remember the Beetlejuice dub (never cared much for this franchise), but I believe it is. Most blockbuster dubs of that age were stellar.

What's even worse, is that most of these classic dubs were scrapped. Most movies, tv series and cartoons from that time have been redubbed - and not only broadcast but even DVDs and BDs use the new dubs. Beats me why. Often the only way to watch these old dubs is from people who had old VHS tapes lying around and uploaded them to the internet.

Pretty interesting to know that this decay in quality isn't only a Brazilian phenomenom, since I have no idea how dubbing is in other countries.
