cant be bothered to take a pic but i got two Playstation original models (fully working) with av leads (no power but the generic power cables mean this isn't a problem, i used the ps2 lead after taking it out the power brick perhaps i should see if im giving too little or much power by using this continually and maybe invest in proper cables) a light gun, 2 original non-sticked controllers, 4 dualshock controllers about 6 games (including rugrats search for reptar, mickey mania, medal of honor and aliens) for just £10 at a boot sale

its a much better deal than the lady who offered me a playstation with bird poop on it with none of the cables for £5 or £10 (i cant remember which), i wasnt suckered into that offer so much

i also got some weird cable that cant find a use for on the console but as i also got an s video cable so i guess its random

i still have ps1 titles that i played on my ps2 since my sis threw out her PSone which broke
i prefer the look of the PSone a little but i tihkb it's just because im more used to it, is there any positive the having the revised model outside of appearance and smaller size?

im thinking about getting a link cable to do LAN on playstation if i buy another copy of doom

Yeah no harm no foul really, you probably wouldn't have found it at a local shop, on ebay there's shipping typically and the risk that it'll be lost in the mail or crushed due to ignorant shipping practices on account of the seller. An ebay user sold me an immaculate copy of shining force 2 but sent it and the flimsy cardboard box it came in lovingly packed inside a manila envelope. Needless to say the thing looked like shit by the time it got here. It's probably worth the 10 bucks or so just to know what you're getting.

I don't find that collecting boxes for pre-GameCube Nintendo games very imperative; the price differential for complete Nintendo games for their loose cartridges is way too large for my taste, and with the limited amount of space I have, the ones do I have are just sitting on a shelf in my closet. Not having the case and manual for disc based games is inexcusable, though.

Green Gameboy Pocket for 10$

Kirby GBA game for 4$
Gamecube for 5$
Nintendo DS Lite for 5$ (it's beyond wrecked though, missing shoulder buttons and won't turn on, it gives signs of wanting to charge though)

I'm very, very curious about that kanji Nintendo above the unusually small Nintendo logo. I've never seen that before, and it IS an older model FC since there's no FF logo on the front. Is it a first-run square button or a transition model? Would you be against opening it to check the board revision?

I would rather pay more for retro games than full price for a new one. Just because they are charging $60 a game is "good for the company" its still too much for something that may or may not be crap.

With retro you KNOW if something is good.

No joke, the NES has better attach rates for homebrew games than the Wii U does for third party games. Kojima even said in an interview that he'd rather make MGS5 for the MSX than the Wii U, simply because the MSX audience would actually buy the game.
