I've been playing Psycho Soldier recently. I just picked it out for the spectacle and because I liked the characters in Crystalis, but it turned out to be a pretty legit game.

Don't play the US version. Don't do it.

Flicker - Collect the birds, protect the birds, drop birds off at collection point.
Defender - Kill invading spaceships before they take off with astronauts.
Tempest - Destroy the upcoming shapes before they reach the top of the area.
Millipede - Destroy the millipede with whatever means necessary.
Gauntlet - Fight to stay alive, deeper into the dungeon you go.
Ms. Pac Man - It is Pac Man, with a qt. Eat pills, colorful ghosts, and fruit littering the floor. Features even more shit to do, fun as fuck.
Frogger - Jump onto platforms to reach the goal at the end of the area.
