Yeah a few things to program an XP virtualbox of your flavor:

I open the [Control Panel] from [Start].

I open the [Advanced Settings] from [system].

Press the Setup button on the [performance] to open the [Advanced Settings].

Press the SET button of [virtual memory].

To reduce the value of the initial and maximum size after selecting the [Custom Size].
I think that there are such people, which is also the D drive and people drive C only (boot disk) is (drive, but it does not seem mind these two hard drives. But also report that could not be improved if there is only only boot disk there.)

In Settings] button → [OK] button, to close the window and hold down the OK to order the rest, and then restart the computer.
Because it depends on the memory you have gained for values to actually set, we will decrease the value further by repeating the above steps if you do not go well.
-Install Windows XP SP1 in VirtualBox
-Go to Control Panel > Regional and Language Options
-Click the Languages tab
-Tick "Install Files for East Asian Languages
-Click Details under Text Services and Input Languages
-Click advanced then tick "Extend Support of Advanced Text Services to all Programs"
-Click OK
-Click the advanced tab of the Regional and Language Options window
-Change "Language for non-unicode Programs to Japanese.
-Hit apply and restart.

Can you elaborate on this encryption? I seem to be able to get at all the text just by unzipping the data. I haven't tried modifying and reinjecting yet.

I reinjected some text and the projector throws an error about the file having a problem. I'll play with it a bit more as I'm hoping I just something i missed and not some checksum that needs finding.

If you used diropener when you don't have the scripts right? There's still a lot of script information in cleartext though. Things like menus and stat changes are pretty clear.

I guess it comes down to whether it's better to try to kludge a translation into the existing framework or redo the game using the available assets. Maybe some of the people doing a walkthrough could give an idea of how complicated the timelines are.

I downloaded it, played a little of it, and came in here to ask the same question. There's no point in playing a game like this if you can't understand what's going on. You're missing like, 60% of the experience.

Looks like a neat game. Reminds me of those old Haruhiko Shono games, only more of a depressing, slightly creepy atmosphere.

lel this is harder than I thought !

There are no common audio files in the directory, so I guess all sound stuff is in these 2 files, which are respectively 18 and 26 MB large (sound is always heavier than most things).

From my research, macromedia director can open these files...so I'm downloading that

Thanks for that sound track, I really enjoyed it.

The use of everyday noises, such as a the dialling tone on a phone, to create an unsettling atmosphere is one of the things that help make this game stand out.

You are the test subject of a machine called "Garage". This machine probes the depths of your mind and plunges you into a dream world. The world you find yourself in is a world of wooden scaffolding and rusty machinery built over a sea of sewage. It's populated by strange half machine, half living beings, and you yourself have become one of them. You learn that you are an outsider in this world and that you should find a way to escape. So you set off on a journey, and along the way you meet and trade with the other inhabitants of this strange world, and eventually learn about its history and secrets.

Thanks to whoever uploaded Chuteng btw, that was a very neat experience though I couldn't understand anything that was going on.

There was a thread where we translated the opening and decided doing it screenshot by screenshot was inefficient but the thread disappeared and I don't know what happened next. That was about a week ago.

You can always copy the text out of the files and run it through google translate if you want an approximate translation. Honestly I don't think it would be that much different than what's been done so far by non-native speakers.

Patcher for the game engine to Macromedia Director
