Forgive me for questioning Japan's own pronunciation of their language but shouldn't it be "Yah-ro-ze"? I've heard it said like that in animu before.

Actually I believe that's correct. The 'fake' part was EGM's attempt to say they had their hands on a stock of Neptunes in a warehouse.

Well, still, I wouldn't really call something that cannot be acquired at all 'rare'. Only prototype models exist and I assume Sega's hold onto those.

The real intent of the thread was to bring to light console models that can be purchased but not without extreme expenditure due to their rarity.
