Don't do this. /vr/ is like 100 times slower than /v/. Come back and bump in 12 hours.

Makes me just think I should just ask /v/

Maybe you should scope out the pace of a board before you make yourself look stupid. /vr/ will give you answers. You might just have to wait a few hours.

Snes9x is the only one with decent netplay support.

MAMEHub (downloads roms you don't have, also works with every system)
Retroarch (requires some GUI, no actual lobby)
ZSnes 1.47n (JUSTWERKS.)
Snes9x latest version (It crashes occasionally so I hope you're not gonna play Secret of Mana or something)

There's also a couple of options for Android, I know SuperGsnes has netplay.

I'll admit, the options for netplay suck in general, so I use MAMEHub for convenience as it's more or less universal. And Demul for Naomi/Atomiswave games.

ZSNES 1.36 or something

This.

The only thing it can't do is 3-4 players. For that I would probably suggest MAMEHub (though MESS emulation has pretty ridiculous requirements for fullspeed SNES) or Mednafen.

Since when? Or do you mean SNES9K? That uses Kaillera? A netplay system absolutely notorious for desyncs?

Is this a troll post?

Works on my 2ghz Core i3 laptop. Maybe it has to do with the software scaling. (You can change it by changing ume.ini, "soft" -> "opengl")

MESS is cpu-demanding but I'm just stating that it works well on low-end modern hardware.

it's free, it's online, you don't have to download anything if you don't want to
(they have snes games as well)

OP here, damn I left this thread for an entire day and I finally check on it. Well ill probably use MAMEhub which I have already installed but it says the server is shut down. Is this because of my fire wall?

Say what you want about ZSNES, it's old and tried enough to at least not have any viruses or malware that would work on a modern computer.

The server kicked me off last night and I think it's been down since. It might be a bit before it comes back up. In the mean time you can always connect directly to each other with the csume.exe client. MAMEHub itself it just a lobby server.

I don't know why you wouldn't use ZSNES if you're only doing 2-player though. It has more features and is more reliable.
