I remember playing the demo for this game back in 96 and was really impressed by some of the features. First/third person view toggle and multiple characters to play as weren't exactly common in those types of games. I bought the full version and was disappointed by the weapon selection and, as you said, level design was poor.

I'm not sure how obscure pic related is, but it never gets any attention. Kingpin was gritty as hell and had a really unique feel to it. Well, as unique as you could get on the id Tech 2 engine. Multiplayer was fun too. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for something other than demons or aliens.
