Hey there guys, I have a favor to ask.
I spent like 6 hours looking for a save to Gran Turismo 2.

The specifics are kind of tricky, though.
I want nothing to be completed, except of licenses, at gold.

I did it myself years ago on PSX, and I don't really feel like repeating it on my PC (using ePSXe)

I would be eternally grateful if someone could help me.

You can found it on gamefaqs "saves" session. Or use a gameshark iso to get all licenses.

Yeah, the ones on gamefaqs have retarded amounts of credits, or like 100 cars in garage already.
I want ONLY licenses...

And I have no idea how to use gameshark on ePSXe.
So help in that area would be highly appreciated.
Btw my GT2 is SCUS-94488, NTSC-U I think.

I could do this myself if anyone taught me step by step how to activate a single cheat - the stop time cheat for my GT2 version.
I'm a real newb here.

Heh, the number of people who went crazy when they found out you can't 100% the game.

You couldn't 100% the original version of the game, and a few of the cars were missing gears. AFAIK, the Greatest Hits version fixed this.

Couldn't you do 100% after doing the hidden Event Simulator races?

It did not.

You could not.

You need a McLaren F1 (among others) to 100% the game. This car is not actually programmed into the game; it can't be unlocked or hacked to be available, it doesn't actually exist on the disc. But it is on the back of the CD case, so hey.

Fuck's sake Polyphony.

I believe you can at least hack the flag that points to the data regarding the missing non-existent cars and force a 100%, but that's obviously tampering with the game.

I believe it was fixed in NTSC 1.2.

Do this. Get a cheating engine like ArtMoney.
Run the emulator, then run ArtMoney. Select the emulator program on Artmoney to track its variables.
If you have used cheating options with emulators before, ArtMoney is pretty much identical.
Then aim to find a time variable - the seconds for example - and freeze it to 0. And do the licenses normally and relaxed.

I 100% my PAL version.

I googled a bunch of 1.2 saves that all also say they're stuck at 98.2%, and the only one with 100% did so by hacking some of the car collection flags to "true".

You have a PSX? How much did it cost you? I heard they are pretty rare.

I assume you want an NTSC-J save (as the PSX only came out in Japan)?

Fuck off, go back to /v/ with that kind of autism.
