This episode is less about the epic finish like a lot of them, more about the ride itself. It's filled with great moments.

So I've been rewatching the Pac-Man 2 episode, and I have two questions:

How did he never notice that you can shoot the arms of the Gum Monster (while spending up to ten minutes in single attempts with 17 attempts in all), and how did he actually win without figuring that out?

I really don't know if it's actually possible to win without shooting the arms, since it should always go like this:

>Pac-Man flies in
>eats one ghost
>gets knocked into wall while the second ghost still throws gum on the monster
>recovers
>another ghost comes in to replace the eaten one
>60 GOTO 10

And that should keep the size of the Gum Monster at least stagnant, if not growing. It's a mite confusing.

Supposedly the scuttlebutt was that SA was behind a paywall all this time was because people discovered that one of the mods was previously convicted about 10 years ago for molesting an 8-10 year-old girl he babysat. So I guess they got rid of him after finding out about this and kept up the paywall til any potential heat died down. I saw this link being posted around about it:

But also, yeah, I could never bring myself to forking out the $10 for the SA forums either. From all the threads I've seen on /v/ and whatnot, I feel like I'd get probated over something pointless.

Eh, it's pretty easy, I think. I try to calm down when I come to post here and other places. And having 10 bucks on the line makes it seem like I would have more reason to watch what I say.

Not sure how to feel about this.

Actually, I think I know how I feel about this - with Kakaricho working with SA-GCCX, I'm almost certain that we're going to be blessed with a whole new generation of chaos and anarchy in these threads because some jackass decides this is prime material to fuck with the thread with.

I always took them as them overplaying or being kinda sarcastic about that; as others have said it wouldn't have been a huge deal if he had died, but he did win on the final life of all the ones he farmed the hell out of; it wasn't even close to the most dramatic win of the show even up til that point, it was just Arino beating a game that fucking everybody who has touched an SNES has beaten but it happened in a stupidly dramatic way. So they took it tongue in cheek and made it into this legendary thing that he "accomplished."

Which frames do you think should be deleted from the 29.97 frame-per-second footage in order to make it 23.976 fps? If we delete every fourth frame then it should give Arino that "film look".

On the other hand, I fucking hate YouTubers and threads about YouTube with a passion. Why is this? Crap, I didn't notice that post. Oh well, at least I posted a screenshot of a boss.

>> No.1370798

Oh, so the episodes don't get subbed right away when they're aired, I was looking for the DKC2 episode.

>> No.1370807

>>1370798
There's still a couple dozen ones from the last 3 years not subbed and a bunch of earlier ones not subbed or incomplete. The biggest subbing team has only been subbing for less than 3 years total. DKC2 is 3 parts and hopefully will get subbed soon.

Fyi that splatterhouse score has already been beaten. And in addition to that its no longer posted. In fact the entire twingalaxies website is gone as well, and has been for months. Keep trying SA. lulz

This is an extreme long shot I know, but was any of the 24-hour challenge subbed, or just the compilation and doc?

Just the compilation and doc.

Thanks.
I'm pretty sure I have everything that's been translated.

I bought Arino's Challenge 2 on DS a couple of days ago. Very excited to play it, it's just a shame I'll have to use a guide for Detective Arino and not really understand what's going on.

You mean 'comedy' segment.
I know the Japanese have a different sense of humour to us, but that was just painful.

This is the closest. I believe it goes up to the SA release of the Northernmost Game Travelogue, and then you can grab the last few from sa-gccx.com.
