GOD DAMMIT. I started this game over hoping that'd I'd be able to beat it in one sitting. Probably could have if I hadn't fucked up on the "Continue" sequence when I got to the last world. Messed that up, so it sent me back to the beginning. Maybe I'll make a short video later where I finish, if I feel like getting through it all again.

World 7 is crazy fast.

I wonder what people use to record emulators. It was so much of a mess for me to figure out I just track down the actual games and record them to a DVD.

I just use FRAPS. It seems to work for pretty much everything.

I use Dextory to do all my recording, the quality is fantastic, although it took a bit of configuring (I was recording raw video/audio for a while, 5 minutes was 65 gigabytes.).

I know of Dxtory, but I don't have much experience with it. I might have to fiddle around with it sometime soon.

FRAPS likes to fuck off with certain games, like the 8-bit remake of Rockman 7.

Why? What's it do?

Worst Space Harrier clone ever. You don't even fly in it.

Stages really suck, and having to defeat all those dragons in a row is a seriously lazy idea for a boss.

Never played Space Harrier myself, but that's what I've heard. And I agree on the bosses.

I've had that game for almost 20 years and I could never beat level 2. God speed, OP.

That theme song will haunt you in your sleep.

Really like this game... I remember getting to world 8 or so and hitting start instead of A to send me back to the beginning of the game. I haven't played it since then. I also remember discovering a way to max out on one-ups, something about going to the bonus level over and over again. I don't remember how I did it, but it shouldn't be hard to figure out.

Why do you always delete all videos from your chanel and start again with the same game

>> No.1341746

>>1341707
That's precisely what happened in my playthrough. And I'm not sure about the 1-up thing. When you exit a bonus level it starts you after the balloon, so I'm not sure if that's possible.

>>1341729
Mostly because I've been very indecisive with what I actually wanted to do with it. I'm pretty sure I know now, so I'm done with deleting stuff. I started again with WorldRunner, but I'm going to jump ahead to where I left off at #19 and sporadically upload numbers 2-18 inbetween the new stuff.

Well...what exactly were you wanting to do with it?

Originally, I was just going to showcase the first few minutes of each game. Now, I'm going to actually sit and play each game until I've either beaten it, gotten bored of it or frustrated with it. Most of the videos are going to be a decent length and all videos will be labeled to tell viewers its status. Dropped videos are games that I've stopped playing. Incomplete videos are ones that I'll likely go back to and completed videos are games I've beaten.

Makes sense. You'd be able to show off more of a game that way. Not sure if just a couple of minutes would get me interested.
