hey /vr/,
i've been looking all over trying to find a solution to this problem (can't find one), so i thought i'd try here.

i recently got a wii, and installed the homebrew channel as well as Snes9x GX to run snes roms. everything works fine, but i can not get it to work with a gamecube controller.
the gamecube controller works fine in the menus, and seems to be configured properly by default...but once a rom is loaded, it will NOT work in-game.

the wiimote works as it should, but is very hard to use with most games that require more than 2 buttons.

does anyone have experience with this?

check to see the button layout in the menu, it could be that only the directional pad is used in that version of snes9x or the analog or not at all, if gamecube games work or any other homebrew works with the controller its that problem. either download another version of the homebrew or try and reconfigure it in the menu

i've tried reconfiguring it, and it seems to be correct. and the controller works fine one the gamecube, itself.

I was having problems with controllers not being recognized at one point, read some forum topics that showed how to fix it by uninstalling/reinstalling these.
