Hey, /vr/ I wanted to do a series for my blog on RPG's, and I needed to know what the essential RPG list for Super Nintendo, Genesis, Playstation and, if possible, Saturn. I know some of more obvious ones like Dragonforce, Chrono Trigger/Cross, Suikoden, Final Fantasies 6-9, Phantasy Star IV, Secret of Mana and Super Mario RPG, but I'm just hoping that maybe you could show me a few others for each system that I could write about. Phantasy Star 2, Final Fantasy 4, Suikoden 2, Panzer Dragoon Saga, Lunar 1 & 2, Chrono Trigger, Xenogears, Legend of Dragoon, Breath of Fire... Those are absolutely essential.

It would be an iso, and I hear Saturn emulation is pretty awful. A modded Saturn isn't that expensive, I'm planning on getting one pretty soon so I can go through the catalog without shelling out for too many games.

I have a Saturn, it's just some games like Dragonforce cost a lot of money and for something like Panzer Dragoon Saga, I'd like to play it in English (unless it was released in the states and I was never aware of it).

Saturn emulation is good enough for Panzer Dragoon Saga. I played it for a while on SSF emulator

Not him, but I've played most Saturn JRPGs without any issue using SSF, Dragon Force included.
I really don't know why people say "Saturn emulation is awful". SSF is great, just don't use Yabause.
