Cody's design was ridiculously inconsistent at the time.

He had elbow pads in the beginning cutscenes but then he didn't later on. And his hair changed fucking colors.

Then he finally got the stripes remake.

I think the elbow pads was a fuck-up. Pretty sure this was his definitive design.

Lucia is a pretty solid choice, but if it's Lunar 2 my favorite is Jean.
At that point in my young life I had never played a videogame where a girl could actuall fight (like, martial arts/kung fu fight).

Yeah, she definitely had that late-'80s anime style going. The pic is the Japanese cover of Valis III for the Turbo-CD, which shows two more stars: Valna (on left) and Cham (on Right). There was also a 4th girl named Reiko from Valis I.

It's too bad those 4 girls were literally whored out several years ago with Valis X. If you think Sonic's had it bad with the newer Sonic games, then you've clearly never heard of Valis X. At least Lena and Amu (the stars of Valis IV) weren't affected.
