was wandering what happend to these threads, then again I've been gone for a few months.

I'll bite.

Got a ton of consoles I'd prefer to sell or trade as a bundle (I might break it up if the deal is good).
PS1 works flawlessly. SNES Jr works flawlessly (has been modded to play Japanese games). Gen. 1's both work flawlessly, Gen 2's however are untested as I don't have the power or video cables for them.
Big SNES needs the connectors cleaned, but it turns on, and plays games if you wedge them in right. NES works fine, though the 72-pin is just starting to have issues, not a huge problem right now though. . Dreamcast turns on, but I have no games for it, and the internal battery is dead (calendar resets every time you turn it off).
2600 Needs a power cable, other than that it's fine. I know it works, because I have another 2600, but only one power transformer.

you're buying a PS1, SNES Jr, 2 Gen.1 Sega genesis systems, and an NES that work properly; a Dreamcast and 2600 that need additional stuff, a SNES that needs to be cleaned, and two Gen. 2 genesis systems that should work if you get the cables for them

All consoles come with a controller and all required wires etc. And all are tested and work great.

Nes top loader, with aftermarket dog-bone controller.
Genesis, stereo av modded.
Genesis, HD graphics version, modded to fit mega drive games.
32x, missing cables, have the spacer and rf shields though.
Magnavox odyssey 2, works great!
Phillips CDI, remote doesn't seem to work with this particular model, email for more info on the specific model this unit is.
Atari 7800, with controllers etc, works great!

NOT PICTURED: I have a metric ton of brick gameboys, and gameboy colors. Gimme a color you want (GBC) and I'll let you know if I have it.

Always check completed listings when checking prices on eBay, people are constantly putting stuff up for ridiculous BIN prices hoping someone comes along with more money than sense. Quick question: why are Japanese versions of games often so much cheaper? For example, a used copy of Earthbound will show up on ebay for around 200 dollars, while Mother 2 is only around twenty (and that includes the box, often times). What's up with that?

They tend to take care of their stuff, sell it to shops and generally keep shit in circulation for reasonable prices. Also, I think a bunch of things were in print for a loooong time (kind of like Atari 2600 games).

I might come off like some weeaboo (I'm not), but I'm just gonna be realistic and frank. As a culture at large, Japanese people just know how to take of their shit better on average, not as carelessly as would be considered normal elsewhere. So complete copies of used games are common, and not in such bad condition. They care for stuff with intention to recoup costs by selling it back into recirculation, thereby sustaining their thriving second-hand market. That makes it very easy and cheap for collectors.

The occasions when items become rare and shoot up in value are when there are truly low production runs of a given item, and only if it is highly desirable. Plus, since there is a general expectation of more complete copies, condition and completeness matters a ton more. You can get a loose copy of a low-print game like SFC Final Fight Guy for next to nothing, but a complete copy sets you back a hundo+.

I'm looking for a few things, component cables for a dream cast, a nice controller for the 64, Final Fantasy tactics complete, and Lufia II.

I have these bad boys here for sale or trade, I'm not looking to make huge profit out of them or anything, so if interested tell me what you have in mind. They're all complete (Manual, original case and everything) the Jewel cases (And the cds) are in excellent condition (I can provide more pictures if you want) all tested.
