Am I the only one who enjoys the NES version of Unchained Melody and Magic Jewelry's songs?

I think they should make an actual atmospheric feels game of the images of those two games.

I'm from South Eastern Europe. I have a lot of famiclone childhood memories. These images and melody are engraved so deeply into my mind, that i will remember them for the rest of my life. They are very nostalgic for me.

That sounds way more different than the version from the righteous brothers...if modernized then the song would come out drastically different compared to the original.

So this shouldn't even be called that unchained melody, and I'm gonna need a different remix if I want to enjoy the same nes notes in modern form, right.

The Nes version is trying to copy the original voice, rather than the music.

I downloaded the rom and messed around with the sound values. I reduced most of the pitch bass so it sounds more melodic and light.

>Unlicensed/pirate games with better music compared to other licensed games

Why does this happen?

What is this sorcery?

Never underestimate bootleggers. They can make some good stuff if they really want to. Favorite multicart right now is the 76-in-1 and that's one of the very few that really does live up to its name. No repeats in that one and yes, I'm 100% serious! Also, there were ports from more advanced systems but they leave a lot to be desired in their current state. Donkey Kong Country 4 and Super Mario World from Hummer Team instantly come to mind. Would have been nice if they didn't try to rush them out the door and refined them. They could have really used some proper beta testing!

You're not alone. This is one of my favorite chiptunes, and it makes me sad.

I'm gonna get someone to make a cover of this song and use it at my funeral.

Super Mario World took a year to port for Hummer Team. The budget was a bit tight too.

I think they did a great job at everything at most of their game.

This one in particular.
