I got sloppy with the alternate ammo names. The newest one restores the RocketRounds.

Debating what to do for the alt firing patterns for the mancubus and arachnotrons instead of their undodgeable static pitch bullet hell in fractal doom, pic is current plan but was posting here in the hopes of someone having a creative idea, since I'm tapped out atm. I'll prolly take a week or so to mull it over before completion if there ain't a super duper gud idea. All other stuff is done or decided upon.

What's possible are projectiles as described in pic; for monsters there isn't a way to have projectiles spawn after the fact with a decreased or increased pitch from the calling actor except at constant pitches unrelated to spawning projectile pitch. Even projectiles with the same pitch are limited (like recreating the player's plasma alt for a monster wouldn't be possible unless it was in a big open area) because of the way they have to be done. But I'm open to any suggestions.

You made me discover this neat wad, so I'll clue you in:
When you enter the building that's in fire, there's a part when you gotta jump to the next room from the balcony. Instead of doing that, turn around and jump to the other building's balcony. In the apartment, you'll find the red key which opens the building left of the one we can see on your picture. From there, you gotta jump from roof to roof and balconies until you get there. It's full of goodies like a plasma cannon and the computer map.

So, I don't know anything about coding, but the notion of split screen Doom on a PC has been BURNING IN MY MIND for a while now. I know there are a couple engines that support splitscreen, but none of them does everything I want it to do. (Legacy crashes consistently, only 2p splitscreen, pain in the ass to bind analog sticks; Remood has no music, etc.)

Now, I've seen a couple modern games that can be played in a faux-splitscreen mode by running multiple instances of the game with a command tag added to the shortcut that forces the game to receive input when it's not the active window. How difficult/reasonable would it be to add a "receive input while inactive" feature in Zandronum or the like? Or is there some way of forcing multiple active windows or forcing input to inactive windows in general?

Figured out the where and the how fast of the shell ejection in Slade. Just not the when. But oh well, I think I've got it to my liking. The default settings had the shells spawn at weird spots, the shotgun it was sort of by the barrel, instead of by the receiver, and the pistol was just a bit beside, instead of just above.

I actually think hexen could use some scaled back speed (and with it headbobbing) with a system like this. at least for Baratus. Parias could be a bit faster and the-mage-who's-name-I-suddenly-forget could use something similar to blink. Where he doesn't quite teleport, but scoots along in whatever direction you're pressing quickly. Leaving little shadows of himself. Like the Dark Bishops do.

And yes, the Taurus .410 rounds won't do a helluva lot unless you're firing slugs, or you're just using .45 LC instead, which in that case you may as well just have a regular revolver. I remember seeing a vid somewhere of somebody trying to use a Taurus Judge for self defense, and the guy being shot didn't go down even after several shots.

Beat ZDCMP 2. Sorta. Very impressive map, fun weapons, lots of enemies and exploran. When I say "Sorta", I mean that I unfortunately had to rely on cheating towards the end. There were some areas where my framerate would just totally drop, and I would die very fast, so I had to use something like god mode or noclip (on the odd few times I had to cross a gap). I'll definitely have to replay it at some point though, and I highly recommend it.

Lot of googling. To make it short, I used some site that let you search partitures trough some notes. I found out one of the songs is based on Bach's invention 13, after knowing that i found the song trough tvtropes. Since I got both songs from the same wad, I figured that maybe the same person sequenced both songs to midi so I searched for the midified version of the first song, wich took me to a japanese site with a beatmania emulator and various songs converted for it. Second song was there.

If you like my midi for a map I may fix the loop thing, or you can edit it to match your needs if you want to, im cool with that

Accessories to Murder is a good one. It replaces enemies too, but it's a lot of fun.
Russian Overkill is good too, I would use it with Ketchup, it adds a fuck ton of Ratchet & Clank-esque ridiculous weapons. It also has 3 playable characters, each with their own melee style and combos, as well as a unique starting weapon.

Alright guys, I need a bit of help. I'm going into Accessories to Murder to remove the blood actors and stuff because the new versions don't work. So far I've gotten it to work. I can use Ketchup with it, but there doesn't appear to be nearly as much blood produced as vanilla doom enemies, and when I gib the AtM enemies, they don't "explode" into a bunch of guts and stuff. It's just normal gib sprite, no blood or guts.
