A lot of things are similar, when you emphasize the exact same itch you're doing it from nostalgia. The game was good, ok. It was good. There's been many good and great games since. However, this fucking game just gets fucking spammed over and over. It's not that good now, it's pure irrational obsession. They call it chasing a dragon, you never catch it, hence the senseless and ceaseless repeating posts. No one ever discusses a succinct single aspect of the game, they ramble all over the place about how the game made them feel when they were younger. It's inane.

to a child mind it was a world of wonder and had an incredible sense of adventure and even loss.
to a developed, jaded mind, it's just old boring shit.
that's why ocarina coasts off nostalgia; nobody can grow up and still retain the ability to be enthralled by the adventure and themes this game gives off. inevitably we lose our patience for games such as this.
