Any way to install and play G-Police on Windows 7 64 bit? This is one of those games that I played and re-played and was disappointed I couldn't run it on my laptop.

How about emulating the Playstation version?

Would an emulator improve the horrible draw distance?

Go with PC versions. Always.

GP is such a great game! Played it to death on PlayStation. There is however as you say a terrible short line of sight and the game itself runs pretty slow on the PlayStation hardware. All of this improved in the successor Weapons of Justice.

If I would be you Anon, I would probobly go for the PC version as long its faithful to the original. Have not played it myself tho.

Believe me, I'm trying. It's just that I haven't found a way to install the game in Windows 7 yet.

And I've never played the PS1 version but the way things are going, I may have to settle for an emulator. At least I can also try Colony Wars as well while I'm at it.

Since GP is not terrebly hard come in bite sized chunks, you could just go for the ps1 version and trial n error yourself forward. Better then not playing the game at all i guess.

But yeah, on a real ps1, the draw limitation can really be frustrating sometimes, especially when things get harder towards the end.

Colony Wars is a great game also. Oh and be sure to try out Weapons of Justice to. Its a more modern take on the GP concept. Not bad tho.
