I think they're both great for entirely different reasons. Snatcher is more stylish, doesn't drag as much because it's shorter, has better music, better MC (arguably). Meanwhile Policenauts is better written, has better secondary characters, and I was genuinely interested in the mystery.

It's basically illegal for this kind of guy to exist nowadays so I'll always be thankful for Kojima. I even liked Phantom Pain a lot though it seems mostly reviled.

Policenauts it's better written but snatcher is more interactive, what a game should be. Policenauts is linear and you cannot get as much contextual information from items. The characters are also more memorable, which is probably more important than the plot.
