There isn't a good game for episode 2 is there? My goal was to play a game for each movie and work through the series and I'm avoiding the Lego games. Played them as a kid and liked them, but these games I got listed are ones I want to beat. I've gone through Super Star Wars, but that's it and I used save states to give myself unlimited continues basically.

You can play either Star Wars Commando or Star Wars The Clone Wars. The former is a cool FPS and the later is a decent vehicle action game.

Does this cover all the worthwhile SW games on PC?

Okay, so I've been up all night for my Star Wars marathon. I beat:
>Obi-Wan's Adventures (GBC)
>The Clone Wars (GBA)
>Revenge of the Sith (GBA)
Obi-Wan Adventures is almost nothing. There's hardly obstacles or any design to the stages, then you get to Darth Maul and he doesn't have his iconic lightsaber and dies in four hits. Total nothing, but wasn't long.
The Clone Wars might be the worst beat-em-up I've played. Every stage was awful in a slightly different way, while they all shared atrocious design flaws. Strangely after the first level, every enemy drops force power ups and once you fill your meter they drop health so if there are no pits then you really can't die during a stage. Count Dooku at the end was an awful boss fight to cap off an awful game. Just mash on him and you win. It was funny because it makes you think the game will let you play as Yoda and then it doesn't. No music during the credits either, lol. A truly terrible game.
Thankfully, Revenge of the Sith is a fun beat-em-up that looks surprisingly nice. Everything about it works well and there's a decent amount of content for the genre.

So that marks all the prequel games I'll play today. Going to try and beat Super Star Wars next.

So I beat Super Star Wars. Once using a save state to practice on the Sand Crawler boss and then after that didn’t really use it. After I beat it started over and beat it without save states but did use that secret room to give myself 99 lives. Only lost 15 by the time I won. Rough around the edges but I like the game. An alright, sloppy Contra wannabe that lacks it’s elegance.
Started up Super Empire though and holy shit is it abhorrent. Everything about it is bad. The difficulty has skyrocketed. Easily 100x harder than SSW. No one drops health, power ups, or anything. Enemies spawn below you, spawn the second they die, and the stages go on forever. Fight THREE bosses back to back with no healing or support in the first fucking stage. After hours of grinding that I get to the ATST part and game over. And guess what? They don’t show me a password! Gamefaqs doesn’t have them either! So fuck me I guess!

Yes, play them, but fair warning they are both rail shooter fmv jank and quite touchy. Still fun games, RA was the first sw game I had on my family’s Mac and probably played it hundreds of times. RA2 is horrible imo.

Outstanding, totally underrated game. Can be complex to manage, but it’s the only Star Wars 4x game and probably one of the most interesting in the whole genre. There’s big online communities to this day making mods. Only advice is skip the battles and let the computer calculate the outcomes for you unless you are really good at managing real-time space combat; the 3d is painful in that mode.

Yeah! So I went in know he had always given me the most trouble in the past, but I beat the game twice and both times, I had Chewy with a fully upgraded gun and the boss died by the time he got to me. It was the easiest fight in the game. It was weird. He must be one of those that's insane if you have a weaker weapon.
Hardest bosses in the game now for me are the lava one in the sandcrawler (instant death pits and lag) and the Mos Eisley escape boss on the big machine with all the parts you gotta shoot. I always have to do that one with the starting gun because that stage sucks and goes on forever.
I think with a few more practice runs I'll be able to beat the game 1cc. There's not too many hard levels.

Yeah Super Empire is pretty hard at points and some levels really drag on but I still enjoy it. I traded a guy in my class my deck of red Magic cards for his Super Empire because he couldn't get past Dagobah, we both thought we got the sweet end of that deal.

Rogue Squadron 2 is the first time I thought graphics looked like I was watching the movies, absolutely insane graphics. Having actually played the Atari Empire Strikes Back game back then and getting to this point was amazing. (I never saw cabinets of the original vector/polygonal Star Wars though)
As for the oldies, I played hundreds of hours of Tie Fighter, I love that game so much, also the Super Star Wars games are fun but have way too many frustrating parts, felt like they were designed to be anti rentals.
