>PS1 game Namco Anthology has Genesis and Famicom Namco games on it
>pic related and it’s later compilations which would also include the SNES games.
> Memorial Series SunSoft Vol. 2 on PS1
>the recent game compilations include the Famicom versions of Sunsoft games.
>Final Fantasy Anthology has the SNES games on PS1.
> Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts on Capcom generation 2 on Saturn and PS1.
I find it odd that NES/Famicom games were brought to systems like PS1, PS2, PSP, Xbox One, and PS4.
You’d think Nintendo would have copyrighted their game engine so only they’d be the ones that would bring those to their exclusive consoles.

Nintendo doesn't own the rights to Namco games so they can't stop Namco from releasing them on any system they want.

Well, youtubers said nintendo are evil monopolistic demons that never allowed anyone to ever port any of the games on their systems and also tortured devs who tried to do it with WWII interrogation techniques. Was I memed?

They're using button "A" and "B" and "Start" and "Select", and the Nintendo color palette. If they wanted to, they could prevent the games to be on these systems.

Mate, Nintendo doesn't have ownership over:
>the alphabet
>"Start" and "Select", which Playstation uses anyhow
>6-bit colour
