I got myself that one for Christmas in 2022 anon. It plays up to SNES (poorly), Genesis, and GBA

Really don't care about the emulation quality on these, they're just fun to collect

I remember 20-years-ago my friend in high-school went on a school excursion to Indonesia (from Australia) and brought back one of these thinking it was the funniest thing he had ever seen. I recall that it was simply hollow inside the shell? Don't think it even played anything.

Today i found a game i used to play a lot in one of my famiclones (it was shaped like a wheel)
https://youtu.be/YZudVNf7hN0?si=XZ_2EEMd1GoUdbCC
Man that console was one of the best famiclones I had, quite a diverse game selection compared to most collections.

>get polistation
>is heavier then normal with 2 cartridge slots.
>one is for famicom cartridges the other slot is for megadrive cartidges.
And now we would never get those fusioned clones consoles.
Now with luck they sell famiclones less alone a good megadrive clone like before.
I wish we could get the old ps1 clone,ps2 clone i know is cheap to get a ps2 but most are ruined and overpriced specially when they have a chip that will ruin the console hence will rather get a ps2 clone for cheap also doubles as mp4 player so great!!.

Does anyone know if it'd be possible to make a Famicom clone using something like the OpenTendo board? (picrel)
If so what chips would I have to use as substitutes for the proprietary ones?

I had one similar to this. It came with some built in games and a cart slot. the cart had several decent real games on it. one controller was shaped like n64 and had a light gun built in which you fired with the z button. the other controller was basically snes-style.

If you're not in PAL land, you could use the UMC brand UA6528 for the PPU and the UA6527 CPU. The CPU has swapped duty cycles on the audio, though, so the audio can sound off. Otherwise it works fine though.

If you are in a country that uses PAL video, the chips have a P on the end, so UA6527 becomes UA6527P.

I'd say try and buy a real 2C02 PPU and 2A03 CPU if you want the real NES/Famicom experience.

Is it normal to see crashes in games that are on multicarts? A few games I've played ended up breaking down mid game.
