Between this and Toy Story 2, the 32-bit era for Disney had to be the best

New Groove is definitely not as good as Toy Story 2, but it wasn't bad.

>> No.10855909

Emperor's New Groove is legit underrated. It's not the best game of all time, but it's very very solid and fun. I guess that goes for the film too.

People rarely discuss it, mostly all I hear about are the 8-bit and 16-bit games by SEGA and Capcom (+ Aladdin Genesis, Toy Story, and Mickey Mania), though to be fair they're pretty good too

This is surprisingly helpful, thank you anon

Also, Donald Duck Quack Attack is Crash Bandicoot clone kino

a lot of those games had PS2 versions that were, much like Harry Potter games for comparison, completely different

I remember the camera in this game rotating constantly for some reason, even when the player was stationary.

I was happy it didn't have much in the way of songs. I typically hate Disney movies, but this was actually not bad.

No, the emperors new groove was a fun film. I wish Latinos were that much fun in real life.

These ones are not as know as the other ones but some of them might be ok to good:

Atlantis, Lilo, Aladdin or Mickey Mania
The tetris one is good for sure.

The Buzz Lightyear of Star Command video game was kinda ass though. I love the cartoon and put a lot of time into as a kid but a game based in that universe could have been so much more. I've been composing music for a soundtrack to a hypothetical game based on that cartoon plus the video game from the intro to Toy Story 2.

>inferior Spyro clone with cringe dialogue delivered by pale imitations of the original voice cast
>multiple levels in a row of boring gimmick shit like the river sections
>constant 4th wall breaking that would have been OK were it not for the wooden voice acting
At least they somehow managed to get Eartha Kitt in there to voice Yzma, but that still didn't really make up for everything else.

Disney's golden age of video games was 3rd and 4th gen, thanks to Sega and Capcom.
Disney Interactive Studios produced some serious slop.

stop watching disney slop:
>The script was rewritten, and what I had made wasn’t used in the ruined, stupid, kitschy final version.

I hated that shit about this game. It was fine otherwise though.

It's a genuinely hilarious film. It gets used a lot as a prime example of an artist's vision getting trampled during production, but the final product turned out to be one of my favorite Disney flicks.
