The game is more simplistic than Virtua Fighter but I love it as much if not more. At the time Sega AM2 got all the love, but I thought AM3 was better so it is sort of a shame Last Bronx did not get a sequel while Fighting Vipers did. Amongst Virtua Fighter, Fighting Vipers, and Last Bronx, the character in your pic has best girl as his sister.

Sega Ages release for the PS2. Really cool game with a funky soundtrack, had the Windows version as a kiddo and kept watching the intro cinematic on repeat, good shit.

I feel the game needs a bit more work/time in the oven, but there's potential in there and the combat feels weighter than something like Tekken 2. My fav is pic related.

The game is too heavily tied to the 90's Japanese urban gang aesthetic. A sequel with a modern aesthetic wouldn't make sense as a modern sequel with the old aesthetic wouldn't.
