Is it really any worse than the stage 3 boss of Hard Corps where you spend half the time just waiting for the next phase to start? The worst part is that you have to fight it on all four paths.

Nope, I love a good 16-bit game, and Contra Hard Corps is one of the finest action games of it's generation. Sad that the bottlenecked SNES could never even get close.

Still the best run n gun on the system despite there being a ton of low points. Contra is a series that just gets better and better every entry. Hard Corps is way cooler, with a bigger move-set and with fewer lower than 3. Shattered even cooler, even more moveset, with even fewer low points and Uprising set a standard for the genre that I still have not seen matched.

4chan is such a negative place that unless the tone/intent is written in the most obvious way they will assume you are being negative and whiny/spiteful. Even if you make it clear you are not they might only read half of it and just assume you are based on habit. And if you make your tone positive enough it will just populate the thread with people who show up to snarl at you and try to make you feel bad for liking something. The conditioning for this has been happening every day for decades. Conditioning that leads to crititisism=hate being the first instinct.
