I've come to the conclusion that liking trains is correlated with stunted emotional development and sociopathy. Without fail, every single middle aged guy I've ever met who was into trains was an autistic weirdo. I used to date this girl that lived in a hoarder house with 10 cats that would shit and piss on everything, and her dad would walk around in tighty whities all day. One time they invited me over for dinner and I accidentally did something to insult him, he got so mad that he stormed off from the table and sat down by a christmas tree that he kept up year-round that had a model train set underneath it. I got up and followed him to the tree to apologize but the mother grabbed my arm and stopped me, and said "just let him be, the trains are therapeutic for him". This dude also thought he was a wizard and said he could create "pockets in space time" where he'd store things and take them out later, among other "powers". I'm still not sure what to make of it all, but basically, train fags are the worst and you should probably kill yourself for having that gif saved.

Perhaps not necessarily "commonly 20" but commonly large, 15+. Their layouts are low and fast (relative to their height) and so can support long trains without weirdness in the ride experience and having only 2 seats per car rather than 4 kinda demands it for throughput.

Stop looking at NEDesigns and Deurklink's videos and just build what you think looks good. Just because it's scenery spam that looks pretty doesn't mean it has soul.
Everything I build is in the vain of trying to perfectly recreate the way Chris Sawyer built his scenarios, because it looks the best to me.

I love playing scenarios in RCT1, but often I get burnt out trying to design custom rollercoaster layouts that satisfy me and the customer. If I spend thousands on a coaster, and it turns out to have like 5 excitement, I just wanna reload and consider what I did wrong.

What we're really talking about here is building something to fit the designated space in the scenario that also has good stats. That's the step that follows figuring out how to simply get good stats without constraints. And it's for what you can justify breaking the scenario's time constraint precisely because what you're doing goes beyond what is required to beat the scenario, as your argument hinges on.

The park looks really fantastic this weekend but unfortunately due to various circumstances including long-term and short-term poor decisions I was not able to indulge. Wouldn't be opposed to playing the map against next weekend since there's still a lot of the basin left but seems like everyone did really well this week. Also how do I stop getting the #2 after my regular username when I join the server
