The cleaning kit doesn't pass electrical signals. The Power Base Converter and 32x won't work at the same time. Two Sonic and Knuckles carts will just play regular S&K. Also, it's not actually all plugged in, because the Power Base Converter has an SMS cart slot on top, not a Genesis cart slot.

The tallest, I think, would be the Sega CD + Genesis + 32x + S&K + Sonic 3.
