The point is to build together with the homies. It's a shared map, so you could make a run at the scenarios together if you want. Most of us just play multiplayer to build cool shit together.

Experimental lighting effects with the day/night cycle is kinda lit.

I just looked at all the old trainers I had archived, and I'll give it a shot. I'm half-ass compiling a list of some of the things I noticed;
4Car per Trainer
>can promote specific types of rides (gentle, thrill, all rides)
>give guests food items or drink items
>uniform item pricing
>invert land ownership
>'slow' staff speed
>guide (force?) guests to bathrooms.
Beast Trainer
>flatten all land
>toggle water color
I know you can do this in object selection or whatever, but honorable mention.
>freeze time (not paused, not toggled)
>renew advertisements
>launch 'disaster'
You can make guests sick or angry (epidemic/riot) in OpenRCT2, but it also gives you options (power surge/explosion) that I think break rides and blew trains up. Can't remember.

I think this forces guests to buy food and leave the park en masse.
I can't open Dragons RCT Trainer in OpenRCT2. Installing RCT1 and actually getting it to work is too rage inducing, but I did find an archive. Also found some random google sheet (and source) if anyone cares (this is /vr/ after all).

The thing that really gets the juices flowing is the new track pieces and elements being added - a particularly good example being the level-inclined cardinal-diagonal pieces added with the RMC coasters (hybrid, single rail). The reason for that is because it breaks us out of the almost-oppressive rigidity of building with pieces instead of splines.

What we need is getting closer to freeform splines, essentially what parkitect did, but without losing the soul of RCT by avoiding outright copying it.

I went with this option. I think it turned out nicely! I wanted to incorporate cannons somehow-- I might disable clearance checks and change some of the cross walls to windows and see how that looks, but they won't be able to align to the middle and I don't know how badly that'd mess up pathing. I want to see little guys walking along the battlements.

I also would've preferred to do it in a different colour, but I don't mind how gaudy it is. If I could change anything it'd be all the crosses everywhere. I like them as a defensive structure for shooting out of, but crosses and windows were the only 'regular' wall pieces that don't have crenellations on top, and are therefore stackable.

It also really surprised me that building this cost like $17000. I'm going to cheat the money back and start as normal but with a cool castle. Another surprise was how long it took. This is the first thing I've really built in RCT aside from rides and a food court or two and it took ages.

Whenever I win a scenario, I close every ride except food and toilets, I fire every staff member and I close the park.
Then I wait until every guest has left the park to save and exit the game.
The park rating takes a fucking dive, but it's relaxing to watch the park slowly emptying as the noise lowers.

I like to keep prices around the 'really good value' range, but I used to have mandatory maximums for each type of ride;
Gentle - $0.50,
Thrill $1,
Coaster $2.
I'd usually get my funding set up so I could achieve something like this;
gentle - free or $0.10,

And I'd also reduce shop prices to where I'd only make $0.10 per item sold. Idk, I didn't want to be a greedy shithead or whatever the head cannon was, but I managed to beat everything in RCT1 at least twice.
