Le gem, part of me thinks if a game is a gem it surely would have been translated but I’ve been proven wrong on that by now, obviously it comes down to taste but there’s a lot of cool shit that is probably just decidedly average from a game point of view but still fun. A lot of the banpresto stuff probably falls into that category. Just solid 7/10 licensed IP slop which is a lot of fun if you enjoy the IP.

Finished it yesterday with the elf, following the easier routes. Solid 7/10 action game with jrpg aesthetics. I intend to finish it with other characters and routes.

Finished the game with the little boy.
Liked the elf more, her attacks have more range, even if the boy's attacks are probably a little stronger. Took a different route this time, and meet different people. The last level was also different. The game is short, but at least is replayable.
Next time I'm finishing it with Nora.
