Crimson Skies, based on a tabletop miniatures game and eventually got an Xbox-exclusive sequel. That one's more of a flying shooter though, this one is more in line with a traditional flight sim with relaxed physics and lots of fantasy to it. The best feature is that all of the maps have at least one very scenic area that you can barnstorm through.
You can use dgVoodoo2 and a crack from PCGamingWiki listed as v2_Crimson_Skies_dgV.7z (use the one matching your desired resolution) to get it working properly on modern computers.
