PS2 wasn't just about the console. It was about the games too, and the menu, the intro noise. Pure unfiltered kino.

Anon.. this is /vr/ the chances are much bigger that you're talking to a 45 year old guy who feels that PS2 was the beginning of the end.
to me the PS2 IS a zoomer console, its not your idea of le retro olde console of yore.

PS2 is where everything became the same, PS2/PS3/Xbox360/etc all the same kinda thing.

Take it apart and clean the laser lens and it might just work. My late model fat ps2 still works but I've had to maintenance it in this way a couple times but it ended up working as good as when it was new. It's much easier to access in slim ps2s since you don't have to take it apart.

Agreed, but the system still has the same design language, just extending one side a bit longer and centering/raising the CD platform behind. NEC has made some good looking cases even the the PC realm, and they have a futuristic "mecha" sort of element that appeals to me.

You can just get a JVC X'Eye, it's the same as the second version of the WonderMega.

>>10641675
It depends on the version, but the WonderMega pictured definitely is. The final revision of both the WonderMega and the X'Eye removed the proprietary AV Multi Out in favor of just having RCA composite out, and the 32x needs to use the Sega Genesis AV Multi plug out in order to combine its own video signal with the Genesis. Technically someone could make a custom cable that turns the RCA Composite out from the WonderMega/X'Eye into an input that the 32x can use, but we're talking about a custom plug for a rare variant of a rare console to be used for a rare add on, so I doubt anyone would care to do so. or it could be super simple, I've never used a 32x so maybe you can just plug a standard genesis AV cable backwards into the 32x, i don't fucking know
