It's PS2 and GBA destroys the argument because of backwards compatibility. Backwards compatibility needs to be disabled for this question to make sense.

I disagree with the whole notion of winners in some sort of console war in general but particularly "definitive winner" especially over 5th gen. I get what you're saying overall, but well PS1 really oversold competition. Yes There are a lot of shovelware on PlayStation, still.
While it might not be as good as Mario 64, Crash trilogy and Spyro trilogies do exist. It's got way more games overall.

4th generation is a really unique case. It doesn't have that much ports, and on the cases of ports, they don't even work out great. Vast majority aren't of them aren't enjoyable to me on SNES. Where as on Genesis they are actually fun.
Even from third parties you basically have different games specifically built for that system.
