So, uh... Can we, like, I dunno *twiddles thumbs* have a thread about, erm, d-demo discs?

I still play demo discs on a nearly weekly basis. There are a lot of demos where I'm completely content with the demo itself and have no desire to play the full game.

The THPS2 demo was like that for me

Having grown up in Eastern Europe, a demo version of a console game still seems like an alien concept to me. I had many CDs with demo versions of PC games from magazines when I was a child and like 2 or 3 legal PS1 games (and a few dozen pirated ones), but I've never once encountered a demo version of a console game in real life and only learned that they were a thing from the internet when I was already an adult.

Interactive Sampler Disc Vol. 5 (the non-FFVII version) came with my PSX. A lot of my favorite (and least favorites too like Star Wars Masters of Teras Kasi) games on the console were found through this disc:
>Parappa the Rapper
>Tomb Raider II
>Armored Core
>Cool Boarders 2
>Fighting Force
>Crash Bandicoot 2
>Colony Wars
>Intelligent Qube (I remember opening the lid to glitch the tutorial demonstration so I could play the levels shown including the last level of the game)
>Jet Moto 2
>and a video of Gex 2
That was a wild disc with kino music:

Since you're asking it like a faggot, then no, I won't engage with your discussion.

God yea it was. I never had a playstation but my cousin did, had a fucking stack of demo disks.
I had like 4 or 5 PcZone demo disks and they were so fucking cool. Still are, thanks to archiving efforts.
