Famimaga 64 Feb.1998....
Issue 29. It is a six page feature/spread.

Page 36. It was shown at Spaceworld '97.

>> No.10511334

I can't imagine we'll be getting any more SW97 leaks. Seems plausible that the ROM is on Nintendo's servers somewhere if the Pokemon SW97 demos were.

Im still foolishly holding out hope that the one /v/ "leak" from a while back is true and that Nintendo's next big rpg project after the last Xenoblade is going to be a finalized/remade version of the original Mother 3. But then again the Mario RPG remake exists so probably dead regardless.

No, wasnt giga leak related. Just some anon that brought it up in a Mother thread on /v/ who linked a thread started by someone else who was discussing it from about a month prior and provided some sources of their internal info. Its probably bullshit, but the fact other people remembered the original thread when the other guy brought it up and the way the original guy described his "inside sources", plus the reluctance to do any non Japanese release of the original version as of yet, ehh its just wishful thinking. When Xenoblade Chronicles 4 or some other major non remake gets released, i will give up on it having any hope of occurring.

Yeah. Currently only thing that may already discredit it is the Mario RPG remake, but idk if that would be considered a "big rpg project". Until I see something big and 3D, I will keep my fingers crossed.

Why would they? How often do Americans go on 2ch can give long, exhaustive explanations of Usenet, shareware, and why all video game displays literally faced wherever the toy department was in most big box stores until the 00s? Hell, for that matter; how many Europeans do the same thing with Americans? Most of them know at least a kindergartner's level of English.

No dummy, never said Monolith was apart of it. The post said Nintendo's next "big rpg project" after Xenoblade 3, as in the next major rpg they were publishing/funding was going to be a full M3 remake/finished version based on original concept. I merely was saying if another major rpg comes out soon, like say a Xenoblade 4 announcement, since thats really the only major rpg IP Nintendo has now(unless we count fucking modern paper mario) then the rumor is definitely dead. The Mario RPG remake though possibly could or could not also have already killed it.

>Wouldn't be surprised if Mother 3 and Pokemon Stadium shared staff.
Satoru Iwata [HAL Laboratory], possibly along with other staff, assisted with the development of Pokémon Stadium's porting of the Battle System from the Game Boy games.
HAL also worked on the Mother series from the second installment-onward.
>Creatures Inc. is the successor of Ape Inc., the main developers of the first two Mother titles
>Also affiliated with Game Freak
People often hyper-focus on the big names in the game when ingesting their articles,
but the main thing they overlook are the keywords such as Developer(s), Producer(s) and Publisher(s).

The main distinction is observing the roles between Visionaries and Engineers.
Sure, the Visionaries can program, but the Engineers make it can happen and often devise unusual methods to ensure that it does.
It's helpful to regard this distinction when analyzing software. Makes things more comprehensible when unravelling a (set of) method(s).

I could go on for hours about JP-only novels and other shit I've read that I found very interesting, and I do have these discussions with certain close friends or my brother, but there is no need for me to share it with everyone on the internet.
