1044947 No.1044947 [Reply] [Original]

i just moved into a new place this weekend, before that i lived in a trailerhome for a few month,
so this is the first time in month that i set up all my stuff.
nintendo only,
the black handheld on the table is one of those cheapo sega thingies though.
the n64 runs excitebike, i just acquired that on a fleamarket.

For all you know, the person could know how to read japanese.

One reason to pick up japanese carts is that they're often times much cheaper than their western equivalent. Unless it's an RPG, you can usually play through a game with out even needing to read any of it.

Recently moved into a new apartment.
Getting the ceiling light in the room replaced and new curtains.
Slowly unpacking retro vidya, so far just a 360 and GCN
Also got a N64, Sega Genesis/CD, and PS1 that are waiting to be unpacked and arranged in my little CRT corner.

I know the feel man. Well, no I don't, I still live at home. I just got a cat though, so where my bedroom used to be a haven for videogames, I had to pack up everything save for my wii. Little fucker likes to chew on my wires, and I value my /vr/ gear too much to risk it. If it stays packed up for a year while I finish school, I can deal with that.

I'm a 20 y.o. male, college made me poor, haven't bought anything video game related in 3 years. Looking forward to splurging after I graduate. Things on my super wish list:
everdrives (n64) (SNES)
flashcart (GBA)
also a new ds, my fat old original ds finally kicked the bucket after 9 years loyal service
sega saturn games (I have 1, and it's Astal)

Also, weekly flea market trips, I miss the hell out of those. Picked up most of my gear from there between 2007-2010

No one ever comes into my room though, so it's not like anyone's comin over to game with me. Looking forward to having a dedicated game room!
