this is funny because Inspector Gadget was an 80s cartoon yet it took until 2001 to get any vidya. in an alternate universe there's some horrible NES jank Inspector Gadget game.

I think it was a SNES Spiderman game where the first or second level was this huge maze and you had to disarm some bombs or something. Don't even want to google this shit, I want to forget it.

Spiderman and the X-Men in Arcade's Revenge. I know it, I had the Game Boy version. I remember it being shit as a kid, and it was even shittier trying it again as an adult. Not even cheating can make it enjoyable. I figure most Spiderman or X-Men fans in the 90's who were into videogames suffered through Arcade's Revenge at least once.

I had this game. also Batman Beyond for the PS1. Fucking horrible game. Batman Forever for Sega Genesis, also quite bad. We rented Superman 64, enough about that. Superhero stuff outside of Spider-man was rancid shit in the 90s.

What really sucks about it is that they actually did well in the graphics and control departments, also the OST was a banger... if ONLY they had the decency to give players proper checkpoints and unlimited continues, then it could've even been fondly remembered as a good video game... but NOOO, we can't have that, it needs to take you back to the title screen every few minutes...

i nearly got Warcraft 2, because the box looked fun, then my mom found Men In Black and i got it instead. i believe my whole life would have gone much differently with Warcraft 2.
