What do you think about my font? It's for a Famicom game, first time doing this. The top is what the game already provides, and at the bottom I filled the blanks. I'm worried about the W since I didn't leave any spacing on the right like all other letters have but I don't know how else to make it while being consistent with the style. The J also doesn't have a spacing at the very top but since it's just a single pixel it's probably passable.

Sadly as I started to implement the font into the game I stumbled on a stopper. If I replace one of the Japanese characters by another Japanese character already present in the game, everything works fine, but if I replace it by a letter from this font, even just copy pasting one the game already has, then the game decides to only write FF blank instead; so now I have to figure out what is going on here. I actually wonder if this some sort of copy protection. This might be the reason why this game is untranslated since otherwise it seems very simple and doesn't have a lot of text and the only thing that seems compressed are world and enemy tiles.

Thoughts on this? Saw this in my recommendations tab.
Personally I like how it improves on the original game with its aesthetics, although there are some obvious elements taken from Mania (mainly Green Hill 1's second half and Green Hill 2's background). The level design looks too Sonic fangame-y for me. Green Hill is way too open and rarely plays around with the setpieces, Bridge Zone's graphics don't compliment the level design well (particularly the bridges themselves) and Marble Zone is too cluttered. The bonus levels feel rushed, which was especially apparent with the heavy lag throughout after grabbing the lightning shield.

Not sure if I would like the finished product.

What's the best emulator on android for gbc, nes, and mega drive on low spec phones?
I have lemuroid but lemuroid doesn't support multi-touch on my phone I can't press the d-pad and b or a button at the same time and I can't remap the controls either, and for some reason it seems to use more CPU and GPU power than M64Plus. I just want to play old games on shitty phone. Also retroarch isn't supported on my phone either.
