Got the idea from the rp3+ compat pie charts, though on a game-by-game basis there are some listed that make me question a lot of "testers". Some games rated bad run fine, some rated GREAT run shit. Im thinking of a baseline "so you're thinking of getting a handheld" format with the big 5. Google sheets isnt nearly as friction-free as an image though for quick information as a starting point.

No, YOU don't have to worry about this on Android because YOU never ran into bad Android. Android is a whole lot more complex to replace, which is why there's only one guy doing it by taking Lineage apart and hacking his way in, and the issues tend to be much more severe and never fixed by manufacturers. No button support on basic apps like system settings, games not running, crashing or playing at slow motion, wrong refresh rates, buttons not registering like L2/R2, performance issues, wifi dying on sleep and taking forever to turn on again on wakeup, Android's RA's exclusive issues. Those are some of the problems I've had with X28 and 353V.

Hello chinese retrohandheld bros, I have a question about the next handheld I'm looking to buy.
I already have a miyoo mini+ and it's been absolutely solid. Using it to play pokemon yellow right now but would like to use it in the future to play more pokemon games and older rpgs.
However, I wanted to pick up something that was more roomy for my fingers so I could play action games more comfortably, play ps1 games that require analog sticks, maybe play some N64 and Dreamcast, and finally something that isn't too big with a 4:3 screen (or at least non widescreen).
What I've looked at that fits this bill is Retroid Pocket 2S and the Powkiddy RGB30. Both seem good for their analog sticks, relatively small size, and can play up to N64 (is this last claim true?)
What do you think, am I missing any other handhelds that could consider?

I haven't been able to play much recently, but in the last few days I've had more time and energy to play some titles that've been sitting on my backlog for a while now, it still feels amazing to be able to play so much stuff from the comfort of my bed, laying back and relaxing my body as I focus my mind and fingers on whatever I'm playing, my Samsung Galaxy M30 and MOCUTE-060 setup is still serving me well, both of them have been fantastic, as they've had for quite a few months now, and I still recommend it for anyone with an old smartphone to use.

I've always loved Disney and their video games, afterall during the 90's both the films and their video game adaptations were excellent, but one of my favorite films, Aladdin, which had gotten both an acclaimed Genesis title and an acclaimed SNES title is one I never got into, but I've decided to change that, and have finished the Genesis version, went onto the SNES one and also got to the end, quicker and easier than the Genesis... but getting the 70 gems? Oh, that's a different story, I'm getting filtered quite hard, it's still fantastic though... but wish me luck.

Well, it's a cheap controller, but I'd say that for their price, they're pretty decent. One flaw they have is the lack of a coating, it's plastic, so your thumbs might slip if they get sweaty, though them being concave helps with that and I haven't had issues despite having sweaty hands. I love how they feel like full analog sticks, as you've said they're not Joy-Con styled like most are nowadays, and they're also symmetrical, my preferred configuration and one that's hard coming by with these smartphone controllers, overall they don't feel as good as a 1st party Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft controller, but they're perfectly fine too, if you can still find this controller for cheap, I feel that it's worth it, though that's my personal experience.

Is the DSi XL worth buying over regular DSi? How's the portability? The extremely few exclusive titles you're going to be getting with a DSi are not worth it, as most play better on the 3DS except for titles that specifically require the inner camera to be located where it is (I can't remember which titles, but I think one like Looksy's Look Up played a little weird due to the 3DS and DSi having different camera placements). Where I live used and new 3DSes are much more expensive than DSi and DS lites are the same price or even sometimes more expensive than DSi (GBA slot doesnt matter since I will pirate games)

I would argue the 3DS screen is better for DS games than any DS model.
The og phat DS's screen is fucking dull as fuck and really shows the spaces between each pixel.
Three out of four DSlite models, with no way of knowing which one you're getting, has fucking awful screens that are much brighter than the original phat DS's screens, but holy shit. The first ones came out of the box smoke-yellow, second ones had more ghosting than a fucking elementary school calculator, and the third ones have this fucking grid pattern across them (which exists on all DS/DSlite/DSi models as the touch-screen tech but isn't visible unless in direct sunlight). If you're lucky enough to get the fourth gen DSlite model with the best screens, you're still susceptible to its new hinge issues that were created trying to fix the original design's hinge.
DSi has the best of everything screen-wise, but all DS models have a pixel-density issue. ESPECIALLY if you get an xl model of any of them, which literally just drag-and-enlarges the screens like a fucking imagine in MSPaint with the fucking larger screens they used. xl models don't fucking upscale the pixel density, so they make everything look worse.
The 3DS's issue is that it will either try to scale DS games to fit its larger screens, or it will display them with a huge black bezzle around them for perfect 1:1 scaling. If you're used to playing DS games on a DS, this will make the games look really fucking small, but they're so fucking crystal clear.
If you're purely emulating your GameBoy games, the DSi might be the best choice then.
