My snes collection is aging. The cartridges are yellowed and many games no longer save. I have some that are worth good money too. It feels like more of a liability at this point, like I’m sitting on something I could cash in and make some money on, that probably won’t work in 10 years.

I’ve heard of these devices, fx pak pro and everdrive. Which device is most ideal/available and works the best? I want perfect emulation, support for games like Mario rpg and Kirby’s dreamland 3 and others that may be harder to emulate, and no bs issues.

Anywhere to find these for less than $200? Which device is ideal?

The Super EverDrive has fairly low compatibility with games as it lacks any special chip emulation. The FX PAK PRO evidently rectifies that omissions and has very high compatibility because of it, also much more expensive. If by coincidence you don't really give a shit about the incompatible games, you can get a bootleg Super EverDrive for ~$30 on AliExpress.

Why do Redditors overshare their personal grievances on 4chan? Are they women?

i don't understand how people can come here looking for a deal that obviously does not exist.

Does FXPAK PRO currently have any games which won't play?

4chan is their social media platform.

Replace your batteries, techtard. These original carts are going to vastly outlive the chink parts in any of these flashcarts you will be trying to get for super cheap.

The Fx pak is the best flashcart on the market, you can play most of the special chips and I think the compatibility is around 98% of the SNES library meanwhile the Super everdrive X5 is only 95% because it can't run any if the special chip games and the X6 can run only a few of the special chips, 96~97% of the library.
If you have the money, and use the SNES a lot, the FXpak is considered to be worthy but if you don't care about the games with special chips just get the 5X

buy the fxpak pro it's the best one
if the price is a problem, maybe you can wait until the holiday sale when they will be discounted, if they are not already sold out, and by which time you may have sold the physical possessions that burden you, gotten a job, or learned to use a search engine

Reddit blog theatrics gives them a sense of identity and makes them come off more personable/relatable/sincere and it tends to follow them offsite. It's why there's been an uptick in posters announcing their age/race/sex/"gender", thinking it adds credibility/legitimacy to their claims as if it matters in a conversation. Most of the time it's kids, other times it's attention seekers, purposely or otherwise.

Personally I wish they'd just cut to the chase with what they want or just state the facts about a situation. There's really no need to go on detailed diatribes over something as if they're treating 4chan as a personal therapist.

All 92 games that use expansion chips. Many of them are shovelware but there's a number of classics/near-classics you'd miss.

I thought it was only like 80 games in total.
Similar to OP, I'm planning on buying a flashcart for my SNES but the FX pak is just too much money for what it offers, I'd rather buy the mega everdrive pro or the turbo everdrive pro.

One of the stupidest claims I've seen in 4chan this week. Compatibility is roughly 95% The highest grade you got in school this year was 65% And that was for finger panting.
>>10328494
>Are they women?
No. They will never be.
>>10328513
Does the X6 finally give ED as high compatibility as an SF7? Asking for the lulz.

You're technically right, but you don't have to be such an insufferable faggot about it to the dude. That 95% misses out on shit like super Mario kart, pilot wings, starfox 1/2, Megaman X2/X3, Super Mario RPG, Kirby Superstar, and Yoshi's Island. While you do get 95% compatibility, I feel like that number is only telling half the full story when at least 20% of the games actually worth playing on the system won't be compatible.

All you had to do was say it doesn't support several games worth playing.
But I still would have been insufferable faggot if you'd said that and included starfox in the list.

thats what i did for $100 or whatever

This. Buying original carts that each cost more than an fx pak pro is really the best chepo option.
