Seirei Gari on NES wasn't great, but it was good enough to get me into NES adventure games.

This and Warriors of Might and Magic had some potentional, 3DO just had to polish things a bit

Populous, any release. I never hear anyone talk about it. It's a city builder with a hero character, and you war with other tribes who worship different gods. Your hero character is a shaman that can use magic to alter terrain for building or fighting.

I only got it because it was $5 at a game store and I wanted to see what a LucasArts game that isn't Star Wars looked like. It wound up being really fun and my favorite SRPG of it's era

If I'm not mistaken, this is a British FPS which strangely got released in the 90s only in Japan and then got imported back to Europe in 2000s by Midas to be released under their budget trash label.
