I played one of this dude's games once. Text adventures kinda suck in general so I didn't like it that much but otherwise it seemed good.

I don't care to read the book; Get Lamp was enough for me.

I googled the book and found the guys site, etc. Looks like he's probably <40. But apparently is really into this shit. Not "a retro """historian""" who reddits frequently about it" into it. Actually seriously studied the genre and makes games. The book might actually not be garbage faggotry bullshit. A kickstarter first.
