If you have to argue whether is at all beatable, that's called "borderline unplayable". Being completable doens't mean it isn't horrible.

Physics in Trespasser are hideous. The whole physics-based design philosophy barely stands. The way your guns stick at the walls, the way everything works - Trespasser is is a fun toy, but a horrible game.

You enjoyed it. Good. As you know, most people didn't.

If that were true then it would be an exception to the rules, and the only exception to the 1999 rule is the Dreamcast. The sticky and the site rules page don't mention Shantae at all. What they do mention is that EVERY game on a platform released on or before 1999 (excluding the dreamcast) is considered retro here.
