Bump for interest. Love Bangai O and always wanted to try this. Is it the port of the original game or a remake?
Was Hover Attack ever been released on anything other than the X1 and pc-88 before this modern PC port?

not OP but its sort of a pack deal. It has the original version (not sure how accurate it is) and an arranged version with some improvements. Theres other bonuses and a level editor which Im not sure was in the original release or magazine version

Tbh its great, I had a lot of fun playing it. It gave me an idea where Bangai-O came from and I wanna assume maybe even stuff like Laynos has its DNA.

thats how I played it. it might have been that my controller wasn't working with it

only problem I had, and maybe this is fixed, is the sound is really loud, can be annoying, especially when you get to low health
