Both with Sonic and AVGN there was a point where everything after went to shit. For AVGN specifically it was when the game content started getting overshadowed by the painfully unfunny skits. You can tell he was over the nerd character by season four.

I know this is probably a joke, but just in case it isn't... no, G Sonic, mostly known as Sonic Blast, isn't underrated, most despise it and it deserves to be despised, which means it's appropriately rated, this is coming from someone that grew up with it and completed it 100% on both Game Gear and Master System, because I'm stupid like that. All I'll say is, play Blue Marine, and if you hate yourself a little more then go for the Chaos Emerald, it's miserable.

I'd say that until the last couple of levels the level design is good
Its moody atmosphere feels quite cozy after a while playing
It doesn't overstay its welcome and is also a proper challenge
It's not goyslop like the modern stuff being put out for consoomers
