Those consoles are not analog, unless you count analog to digital conversion when reading CDs or digital to analog conversion when outputting signal through composite. And yes, it's completely possible to emulate analog computation using purely digital means. And chink controllers have had analog sticks for the last 25 years.

You are retarded if you think that it's possible to manually reverse engineer Playstation or Saturn and put all of their circuitry inside an fPGA the size of Mister. Those cores are just emulation with extra steps.
