For the last time, play the original first, then play DX later. The original has fast menus and text with good graphic designs and better gameplay, while DX has color and some other interesting things in it.

The warp glitch is so much fun to play around with. They patched it out in the DX version.

I always forget that the original lacked the SGB border. It's such a comfy way to play.
Fuck it, I wanna see a ROM hack that actually takes advantage of the SGB support.

Warp glitch is so much fun, discovering that NPCs can behave differently if you warp them to the wrong screen is great, like the fisherman in Mabe Village.

DX still has the doghouse glitch, which is a great way to sequence break, alter progression, explore out of bounds. You can straight up crash the game if you (don't) know what you're doing.

There's also that glitch that lets you get any color tunic (including glitched tunics) as soon as you get the sword. Simply kill 89 enemies on the overworld without leaving it, and upon killing the 90th enemy you'll change tunic depending on the enemies' index in memory.
Index 0 gives green tunic, index 1 gives red tunic, index 2 gives blue tunic, index 3 gives a glitched tunic that vdoubles sword damage without sending enemies flying.

It just tells you that you can't come in, because it can tell when it's running in DMG/SBG or GBC mode.

You can still open the entrance to the dungeon, but the guards in the first room that ask you what color they are won't even give you the "riddle".
