Hundreds of games depending on if you like arcade, computer ports or shooting games. Sms has it all. Wonder boy is consider the premiere series.

Wonder Boy III: The Dragons Trap. It's a sort of platformer rpg, one of my favourite and most nostalgic games of all time. It's challenging, has a real feeling of exploration, the music is fantastic, plenty of rewarding secrets. Just a 10/10 master system game that you should play immediately.

It's a solid 30fps and plays fine, I'm not going to pretend 60fps isn't an objective improvement but calling it a choppy mess is a huge overstatement
