I managed to order a pair of these "SF" brand wifi controllers to go with my SF2000 from not only a US seller but for only $15.63 CAD, which I used my refund for the Retromax and its broken screen to pay for. They should be here next week.

Even though I got two of the controllers in the style I wanted, I am still bummed out about not being able to buy one of these Mario Red wifi controllers with an analog stick instead of a d-pad for their novelty. Only two stores sold the Mario Red SF2000 with matching controllers and both sold out within two days of listing them, so you can only either get the classic SNES controllers, the SNES controllers with handles like the two I bought, or black versions of the ones with handles to match the black SF2000.

So hey , i work in ( mostly) graveyard shitfs , so i kinda have like 3-4 hours every time i go to work of down time and at a very horrible hours so i cant do much " brainwork", i used to play with my 3ds but i kinda burned down all the games i ever liked in that platform, What is the best handheld in your opinion guys that is able to run FX chip emulation? because i really like the snes starfoxes ( classic, SF2 and SFEX) and i dont want to have those weird desync issues that used to happen on some emulators years ago on pc.

PPPPPPBHHHHHHHHT! YEAH RIGHT!
Not that anon, but honestly, fuck your kosher parasite invented creed of psuedo-spiritual lies and garbage, and all of its symbolism and fraud characters contained with in your holy texts. It ultimately doesn't matter if its ""Roman"" Catholicism, the many different Protestant threads of belief, Eastern Orthodoxy, either of the Ethiopian Orthodox Churches, nor the (((Jehovah's Witness))), nor the Mandaean Gnostics, Donatists, Mormons, or Maronites; Its still Hebraic/Jewish FILTH at the CORE! Quantity =/= quality, and the same goes for the sister cancer program of (((Islam))). Both ""religions"" have a long history SOAKED IN BLOOD when it comes to killing off non Abrahamic spiritual teachers and books, but also of fighting amongst each other, E.G. the 1054 schism between Catholics and the Eastern Orthodox believers, the Protestant schism and the sectarian wars across much of Europe regarding the "true" doctrine which came alongside, oh and the schism in Islam between Sunni, Shiite and Ibadi Muslims. Repetition and re-threading of a bunch of lies does NOT turn it into true not matter how many times it is repackaged. Same goes for (((Communism))), the 1, if not 1 of 2 main difference(s) between it and Christianity and Islam are that Communist ideology doesn't have the veil of being "spiritual".

I laugh at you RP3+ "muh performance" fags because you only look at raw numbers and base your opinion on that. The RP2S is still going to run almost everything the RP3+ can perfectly except losing out on some better performance on Gamecube and PS2 (which isn't even that good on the 3+ anyway). So even though it's a downgrade in performance, you're still essentially keeping all the same available systems on both devices. This is why just looking at raw performance numbers is retarded. It's not even a big difference, the T610 is just a slightly underclocked T618. As for other pros with the RP2S, it's going to be much more pocketable than the 3+, it has start/select/volume/home in the perfect spots and not stupidly placed, it has a back button now and an extra user programmable button, it has a 4:3 screen which some people prefer. And it's coming in at $99, so the price to performance gain you're getting is insane and way better than the 3+.

Anbernic is great, haters be damned. When I bought the 405m I thought I messed up because the analog stick was up top instead of the dpad. But no, turns out that's actually the most comfortable place to use the analog stick and I bought this thing for 3D games that all use analog (N64,DC,GC,PS1,PS2). Notice these consoles are all 4:3 as well - no black bars.

It's not so much about the d-pad being above or below the stick, as it is not having either control too low on the device. Even sony realized the original psp was uncomfortable with how low the stick was, so raised it a few millimeters on the psp vita.

Well then you're a fool. If the games you're playing are 3D, such as Nintendo Switch's, then the analog stick should be in the prioritized position.

If the games you're playing are 2D then the DPAD should be in the prioritized position.

I am objectively correct here. There is no subjectivity involved in my argument. Anyone with a preference is not thinking logically.

Well, fuck you /hhg/. I set up my RG353PS with ArkOS today and none of the N64 emulators can play Rayman 2 properly. The switch on the second level that is supposed to be triggered by shooting at it doesn't budge. Playing this game on the go is half the reason I even bought this device. I emulated in just fine on a Windows XP machine with Core 2 Duo back in 2012 or so, so I don't understand why a handheld from 2023 can't play it. And before you ask, it doesn't work with stock firmware either. And no, I'm not going to play the PSX version. It has lots of content cut out. The N64 version is one of the closest to the PC version, that is the reason I want to play it in particular.

Guess I'll just buy a cart with Rayman DS and play it on the go that way. And sell this chink trash.

Murphy disappears from the game in the tutorial, but the first level is beatable. The second level has the game breaking bug I mentioned in the original post. I remember the bug you mentioned back when I used DaedalusX64 on Vita, it was a game logic issue with both Rayman 2 and Goin' Quackers (same engine, both by the same devs), but even that got fixed there with a dirty hack. It's weird that's present in the N64 emulators included within ArkOS, though. Maybe try it with JELOS? I'll be heading work soon so I don't have time to screw around with it right now. If this thread dies, then try posting again on the new thread and I'll reply there.

I'd say N64 emulation is in a pretty good spot right now, things have improved as of late and you don't need that much power to run most games. And yeah, I honestly prefer the N64 version of Rayman 2 over the others; it just feels much more impressive on N64.
