Cool little game. But playing it knowing that the company who made it now supports various japanese furfag artist leaves a dark spot on your mind.
Still, the game is good. So is Red The Hunter and even new Fuga entries which are in the same universe as Tail Concerto is good. I'll never buy any of'em though, knowing that my money would go for bara comissions. Screw that.

fun little game, rockstar tried bringing the simplistic arcadey gameplay of 2D beat ‘em ups to 3D. it’s frantic, ridiculous and fun, but a little too simple and at 90 missions over 3 small maps really over stays it’s welcome with me personally. They’d do better with the warriors and bully later on

Creature Shock, basically a prerendered 90s CGI looking rail shooter that is like if Reboot the series went into Sci-Fi horror territory. I was stoked by it because at first the family computer couldn't handle it, then my Dad had to change some settings and then it ran alright. It has a weird atmosphere that is a mixture of The Thing, Dino Crisis 1 and Metal Gear Solid
Runs in very high framerate and has your typical survival horror exploration and backtracking with occasional puzzles
The shtick of it is that you have only your rifle but you change and swap attachments into different "weapons" (grenade launcher, flamethrower etc) in order to deal with different enemies

I never completed it myself, I have a 15 year old savefile stuck on the final boss.

I remember my buddy picking this up on release day. Quite fun for quick blast of OTT violent arcade action. We were impressed with how many people models it could get on-screen at any one time.

what the FUCK were they thinking

imo SRS, Juiced had the gameplay chops
Juiced 1 was kino, physics were funny but it was really fun, super colorful and good soundtrack too

I played this. Fairly enjoyable and it has an end credits theme that comes out of nowhere.

Holy shit I remember the cover. I saw it on a friend's shelf once and asked if we could play it but before we could he got into a fight with his mom and I was sent home. All you had to do was shut the fuck up, Quinn.
Was it any good? I'm guessing not as cool as kid me thought it would be from the cover?

Juiced wasn't obscure it was just mediocre so everyone forgot about it soon after release, and I don't know what SRS is so that one.

Every release of this game has a game-breaking error in the 7th level of stage 3. This section is supposed to have you move the rocket to the moving platforms and pull the lever on the ground to activate the rocket with the intention of having that rocket carry a monkey across the gap which clears the puzzle and allows you to continue the level.

Notice how the rocket is facing the wrong way: This breaks the puzzle as there is no way to turn the rocket around in-game, effectively softlocking the game unless you have a level editor which I've only found included with the game files on an obscure russian forum from at least a decade ago, that archive page you linked was apparently made in 2021 and is missing the editor meaning the game isn't able to be fully played. Somehow I think you just googled "monkey brains archive" and didn't bother installing the game yourself, which all but confirms my point: Nobody has played this obscure game that was nearly completely lost because of lazy archivists not bothering to ensure the game was fully playable. Even the russian version was broken like this and I had to figure out how to use the editor with the only help being from a poorly translated readme for the editor. Honestly I'm just waiting for more interest to garner before I package the fixed version with the editor, I want to scrape the whole thing and make sure it's clean before rehosting it on archive myself.

Archive description excerpt:
>It says it's registered on my computer; hopefully that carries over? If not, sorry, I'm unequipped for proper archiving.
He was right. Until I release the fixed version or someone else finds the forum post I'm referring to, it's likely that nobody in the last decade has played through this game completely.

I've played it. Keep meaning to buy a copy as well. It was the first advertisement in the front of Nintendo Power Advanced issue 1.
